As if The Deathly Hallows Part 1 would be enough, the gang at Warner Bros. and ABC family are giving Potter fans something else to look forward to this coming Winter. If you notice ABC Family host the Harry Potter films almost once a month, and with every new film to television they air special behind the scenes and clips of the upcoming film. But this year they are giving us something more, Tales of Beedle the Bard. That’s right folks, this year ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas will be airing Tales of Beedle the Bard, a five part mini-series as their main event. So far filming information and casting has been hush-hush, but that will change soon as they’ll start promoting their cash cow. Sources tell us that they plan to air the mini-series the week of Christmas (Monday December 20 – Friday December 24) and air a special encore of all five episodes on Saturday, December 25th. More on this as it developes.

Don’t ask us why, we’ll just get frustrated with it’s limitations again in a few months and revert to something else. A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on the door.
The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.
“Not a chance,” says the husband, “it is 3:00 in the morning!”

He slams the door and returns to bed.

“Who was that?” asked his wife.

“Just some drunk guy asking for a push,” he answers.

“Did you help him?” she asks.

“No, I did not, it is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!”

“Well, you have a short memory,” says his wife. “Don’t you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself! God loves drunk people too.

The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain.

He calls out into the dark, “Hello, are you still there?”

“Yes,” comes back the answer.

“Do you still need a push?” calls out the husband.

“Yes, please!” comes the reply from the dark.

“Where are you?” asks the husband.

“Over here on the swing set,” replied the drunk.

With the Harry Potter films finally wrapped up on filming it’s no surprise that the cast are looking to find other roles to star in. But lead man, Dan Radcliffe has well and truly shocked his fan base with his upcoming broadway role. The temporary title is set for “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”, but we’ve uncovered that the Broadway play and it’s content is actually under tight lip due to it’s controversial nature and content.

Yes folks, it’s finally all going to come to light on the big stage. Paul Reubens finally tells his tale in an all new Broadway play; My Life As Pee Wee Starring Dan Radcliffe. Don’t believe us?  The play is slated for February 2011. Check out the preview below:

As we told you some months back, author J.K. Rowling has been planning to start a new Wizarding World series, and it’s really true! Rowling was initially planning to step away from Harry Potter and his world for awhile and take a much deserved break. But one character in particular has been nagging at her and refusing to sit dormant in her mind. One we’ve all been wondering about since the Epilogue of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows.

It’s official folks! Come this November we get more than the long awaited Deathly Hallows film, we get to delve back into the adventures of another mischievous group of witches and wizards!

Que “Going Back To Hogwarts!”

And of course the author and her representatives are hush-hush on any real information about the upcoming series. So what can we expect? Well, of course Rowling will be giving us clues and hints about the book on her Official Site, and more fansites will pop up, and we all get to guess, theorize what’s to come, but now our kids will get to foam at the mouth waiting on the releases of each book like we did. And we’ll get to wonder if we really looked and acted that silly when did it. Of course so far the author and her publishers are tight lipped about the series and won’t even give us a scrap of information other than, “It’s really happening”. But we have our ways, and came across this cover art mock up! ~ Enjoy!
